Module 1(a) Discussions

This is a page where you can ask any questions you have regarding Module 1(a) of our Free Forecasting and Basic Financial Modelling Training. In case you haven’t registered for it yet please visit the page and follow the given instructions.

The idea behind Module 1(a) is to familiarize you with the company and help you understand its business better. So, you need to carefully go through the company’s 10-K and its earnings call transcripts. Since most of you are doing this for the first time, you are bound to have doubts. Please don’t hesitate to ask your doubts here, no matter however minuscule you think they are. This is important if you want to learn. You may also need to dedicate a good amount of time to go through earnings transcripts. If you are reading an earnings call transcript for the first time, it may take 5 to 8 hours to understand it. It is absolutely normal. Do not worry, the time required will go drastically down once you have done a couple of more companies.
